My visit to Montreal, Quebec, Canada, December 9-December 18 2006 Click here for full gallery
Dur23 was my host in Montreal. This was the first time we met in person, but he made me feel totally at home, and showed me all around Montreal. I'll miss the dur-man and chez dur. :-)

I also met up with polycounters Kleinluka,

B1ll, (forgive the crappy photography, I had to sit my camera on the counter)

Jkim3,

and lurker Froggie. This picture was taken at the Ubisoft Christmas party which was pretty cool. One of Froggie's friends gave me his ticket, so I got to attend. It was a masquerade party, but I don't like wearing masks, so I walked around without one like a lamer.

I took some amazing panoramics from the top of Mont-Royal. It was an amazing hike to the top, and I really enjoyed the view. This one is facing South. (click for larger version)
This one East.
This is a road running along the southern waterline. It was fun seeing all the construction, and I had to head down this way again for the ubi party and then again to hang out with b1ll.
Before leaving, I was forced to try Poutine. Poutine is an abomination against your tongue. It's as if all the good food had already been invented, but Montreal wanted something original so badly, that they invented this monstrosity to foist upon unsuspecting visitors. It's fries, gravey, and cheese curds. My face says what I think about this "food".

There are a lot more pictures in the full gallery, so be sure to check that out. This page is just the highlights.
