My visit to Boston, MA, November 26-December 9 2006 Click here for full gallery
BoBo the Seal was my host in Boston. We met in Dallas, TX while I worked at Terminal Reality and became good friends there. I'd been meaning to visit him in Boston for the past two years, but it didn't work out until now. He's a great friend, and it was just like old times the second I got there. His wife, Ardra, cooked some amazing food for me while there, especially the Enchiladas. Best Tex-mex in Boston, haha.

BoBo worked at Ironlore, and just recently transitioned to Green Monster Games. Both studios are in the same building, which used to be a lumber mill, and here are a few panoramics from the rooftop. Click for full sized images.
While at Ironlore, I got to meet up with some old friends from Polycount, some I'd met before in person, and some not. This picture was taken in the subway on our way to have noodles in downtown Boston.

We played poker twice while at Ironlore. Five dollar buy in. First week I came in second to last.

Second week I won it all! Muaahahahahaha.

Since as a freelance artist, I didn't have a set schedule, I explored around a lot. I found a really awesome cemetary and explored around it. This is a 360 from the center of it. It's a seamless 360.
Then I took an HDRI of this pretty awesome gravefront. The HDRI provides the higher contrast and color range than the other pictures.

BoBo and Ardra have two awesome cats, I'd met Tigger, but not their new cat, Piglet. I found him sleeping on their dryer one night and I had to take a picture. He was so much fun to play with.
There are a lot more pictures in the full gallery, especially good texture reference, so be sure to check that out. This page is just the highlights.
